Art Vocabulary Building

Tired of hearing “I don’t know” when you ask students to describe an artwork or provide critique?

I find that my students are way better at articulating their work (or the work of another artist) when they have this sheet for reference.

I like to have a stack ready and hand them out during critiques, artist statements, or research projects. Students can circle words and take notes right on the paper, which is really helpful!

Enjoy!
